In partnership with ETC – 8 Hour Master & Special Electrician Renewal
New York City has Mandated Continuing Education for all Electrical License Holders; this includes ACTIVE AND/OR SHELVED.
You will be required to present your Electrical License and your Driver’s License.
Be prepared to take your Master Electricians Test! This is a 10 Week course that will prepare you for your Master Electricians Exam in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange Counties and Connecticut. Be prepared for 12 to 15 hours of homework and 3.5 hours a week of classroom instruction. Students must have the required 7½ years work experience in order to take the exam. You must apply to The Westchester County Licensing Board to take the exam. Click here to obtain required paperwork.
Be prepared to take the NEW YORK CITY Master’s Electrician License Exam! This is a 5 month course that will prepare you for your NEW YORK CITY Master Electricians Exam. Class meets twice per week from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

SWIS makes it easy to learn the Code Changes with our NEW six hour program for 2014 Code Changes. You will be provided with a code change book so that you can follow along and keep your own notes as the SWIS instructors take you through the code changes in a classroom environment with a PowerPoint presentation.
This class is offered in ONE SATURDAY SESSION: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm with a pizza lunch provided or TWO WEEKNIGHT SESSIONS: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm MUST ATTEND BOTH, coffee, water and snacks provided.
Fulfill your required four hour CEU’s to renew your Westchester County Electrical License.
Westchester County License Holders must show required MANDATORY IDENTIFICATION:
ALL ACTIVE license holders will have to show their current license and another ID.
ALL SHELVED license holders will have to show two ID’s – one will have to be a photo ID.
Anyone not providing the mandatory identification documents will not be permitted to attend the class, as described in Rule 15 Revised 3-11-14
Electricians that are not licensed in Westchester County can also attend this class to increase your knowledge of the Electrical Code. We are in a code change cycle. Take advantage of this very informative class.
