New York City has Mandated Continuing Education for all Electrical License Holders; this includes ACTIVE AND/OR SHELVED. You will be required to present your Electrical License and your Driver’s License.
Fulfill your required four hour CEU’s to renew your Westchester County Electrical License.
Westchester County License Holders must show required MANDATORY IDENTIFICATION:
ALL ACTIVE license holders will have to show their current license and another ID.
ALL SHELVED license holders will have to show two ID’s – one will have to be a photo ID.
Anyone not providing the mandatory identification documents will not be permitted to attend the class, as described in Rule 15 Revised 3-11-14

Be prepared to take the NEW YORK CITY Master’s Electrician License Exam! This is a 6 month course that will prepare you for your NEW YORK CITY Master Electricians Exam. Class meets each Thursday from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Offered in collaboration with Electrical Training Course.
Be prepared to take your Master Electricians Test! This 4 week course will take you through, step-by-step, in Motors, Load Calculations, Box Fill, Pipe Fill, Transformers and Over-Current Protection. We have found that most students can find the information when taking an exam, but are not comfortable with calculations. This class is designed for those who have registered to take the Westchester County Exam and will also help anyone taking the Connecticut Exam, Orange County Exam, Putnam County Exam or the Rockland County Exam.

Continuing Education Requirements: Electrical Contractors: 34 hours – 9 relating to most recent NEC; 1 hour on state statutes and rules; 24 hours covering installation, repair or alteration of electrical equipment for generation, transmission of electrical energy and business practices. Job Safety practices, supervisory responsibilities required by NJ and other topics relevant to electrical contracting.
