New York City has Mandated Continuing Education for all Electrical License Holders; this includes ACTIVE AND/OR SHELVED.
You will be required to present your Electrical License and your Driver’s License.
Back by popular demand – SWIS CODE CLUB – Six classes in 2018 (3 hours each) will cover: Services; Grounding and Bonding; Calculations; Wiring Methods of Chapter 3; Chapter 4 Equipment; Chapter 5 Special Occupancies; Chapter 6 Special Equipment; Chapter 7 Special Conditions, Chapter 8 Communications.
Let Instructor Freddie Morello take you through the code with the use of IAEI, Mike Holt and job photos in a PowerPoint presentation. Our students will receive specific training in the use of the NEC. This is for students who want to further their understanding of the National Electrical Code. You will receive a handout for each class to keep for your review. How many times do we think “I remember him saying that but where in the code is it?”
Class meets from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm on the following Wednesdays: February 28, March 28, April 25, May 30, September 26 and October 31, 2018.

Beginning in 2019, Putnam County is requiring Continuing Education. All Putnam County master electricians will be required to show proof of having taken continuing education in 2018 in order to renew their electrical license in 2019.
Electrical journeymen will be required to show proof of having taken continuing education prior to their renewal for the 2018-2020 term. And, they will be required to take a continuing education class each year within that two-year period.

Putnam County License Holders must show required MANDATORY IDENTIFICATION:
ALL ACTIVE license holders will have to show their current license and another ID.
ALL SHELVED license holders will have to show two ID’s – one will have to be a photo ID.
Anyone not providing the mandatory identification documents will not be permitted to attend the class.
