BEFORE registering for this class, we recommend you be PRE-APPROVED BY THE LICENSING BOARD to take the exam. Part of the success of this training is that you complete the class and take the exam immediately or very soon thereafter.
Be prepared to take your Master Electricians Test! This college level course that will prepare you for your Master Electricians Exam in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland*, Orange Counties, counties throughout New York and the State of Connecticut. This course requires 10 to 12 hours of homework and 3 to 6 hours a week of classroom instruction. Students must have the required 7½ years work experience in order to take the exam.
NOTE: You must apply to The Westchester County Licensing Board to take the Westchester County exam.
*ATTENTION STUDENTS STUDYING FOR THE ROCKLAND EXAM: Additional classes will be scheduled for ROCKLAND students for a small additional fee.

All Class B and Class C licenses issued must be renewed annually on or before the date of expiration. Each application for renewal of a license must be accompanied by proof that the individual has successfully completed a refresher course on changes to the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code and the current National Electrical Code version adopted by New York State.Failure of a licensed Master Electrician to renew such license after fifteen days of the expiration date shall result in a penalty of $50.00. If renewal is not received within thirty days from the expiration date, it shall result in revocation of the license unless, upon good cause shown, an additional thirty day extension by the Board.

Fulfill your required four-hour CEU’s to renew your Connecticut E1 and E2 Electrical License.
Multiple License Holders: We can provide multiple requirements on the same day! First 4 hours will be Connecticut requirements for E1 and E2 Electrical License holders. After a break we will continue with Westchester, Putnam, Orange, Sullivan and Ulster Counties to meet those 4-hour requirements.
Registrants are required to have a calculator and 2023 NFPA Code Book during class and a functioning calculator.
NOTE: An electronic version of the 2023 NFPA Code Book is acceptable provided it is viewed on an iPad, notebook or laptop only. Cell phone viewing is not an acceptable device.
