All Class B and Class C licenses issued must be renewed annually on or before the date of expiration.  Each application for renewal of a license must be accompanied by proof that the individual has successfully completed a refresher course on changes to the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code and the current National Electrical Code version adopted by New York State.

Failure of a licensed Master Electrician to renew such license after fifteen days of the expiration date shall result in a penalty of $50.00.  If renewal is not received within thirty days from the expiration date, it shall result in revocation of the license unless, upon good cause shown, an additional thirty day extension by the Board.
