IMPORTANT NOTICE:  Beginning 2022 NEW DEADLINE to complete CONNECTICUT continuing education requirements is JUNE 30 OF EACH YEAR.

Offering a ONE DAY class for Multiple License Holders. We can provide multiple requirements the same day!  First 4 hours will be Connecticut requirements for E1 and E2 Electrical License holders and after a break we will continue with remaining CEU hours for Westchester, Putnam and Orange Counties to meet those requirements. Fulfill your required four hour CEU’s to renew your Connecticut E1 and E2 Electrical License Registrants are required to have a calculator and 2017 NFPA Code Book during class and a functioning calculator.
  • NOTE: An electronic version of the 2017 NFPA Code Book is acceptable provided it is viewed on an iPad, notebook or laptop only. Cell phone viewing is not an acceptable device.
  • Participants are NOT permitted to use cell phones for this class because of the limited screen sizes. Only desktop, laptop and computer notebooks or tablets are permitted.
Prior to the class starting, each participant is required to display a driver’s license with photo ID and their occupational license for confirmation of the attendee. Anyone not providing the mandatory identification documents will not be permitted to attend the class.

CONNECTICUT LICENSE HOLDERS – FOR YOUR INFORMATION
1. Classes as originally approved for physically in person classroom instruction are to continue and are subject to the following:

  • a. All previously approved venue locations and any new proposed locations that you intend to use, must follow all DECD requirements including but not limited to social distancing, health monitoring, cleaning and sanitizing, and occupancy.
  • b. All previously approved venue locations and any new proposed locations that you intend to use must be certified by DECD through their self-certification program.
  • c. In accordance with the Governors Executive Order 7GGG dated 7/13/2020, the deadline to complete electrical continued education has been extended until the last day of the calendar year. (December 31, 2020)
  • d. The date for renewal of licenses remains unchanged.
  • e. The Department of Consumer Protection will be modifying the question asked during license renewal as it relates to if the license holder has completed the required continued education, so as to reflect the time extension until the last day of the calendar year. (December 31, 2020)
  • f. There will not be any penalty or fines issued for continued education classes taken between the license renewal date and that of the end of the calendar year. (December 31, 2020).

  • Connecticut License Holders: All Connecticut electrical licenses expire annually on September 30th.  You must take your CEU class before renewal.
  • Westchester License Holders:  Must take four hours of Continuing Education in 2018 in order to renew your 2019 Westchester County Master Electricians License.
